-----Mirian pushes a few coins into Sarah's hand as the dancer says while laughing, "No, it is bad luck to not take the coin that is thrown to a performer."
-----Lovan stands close to Sol taking a pull from his mug with an expression of indifference. Romney still scowls as he continues to scan the crowd while warding off any well-wishers who get too close.
-----Garrison moves up behind Mirian and says with a smile, "That was great dancing!"
-----The dancer finally turns around and acknowledges the woodsman with her own beaming smile. "You really think so? Oh, thank you!" she says to him.
-----"Would you care to sit while I bring us some food?" Garrison asks and his face seems to lightly flush.
-----"Oh," Mirian says, quickly glancing at Sarah, "I don't know. Shall we eat now or dance?"
-----Sarah smiles and glances around. "I want to keep dancing." She says, having so much fun she's actually feeling guilty. "You guys can start eating if you want." She reaches her hand out to Mirian. "Shall we?" A contagious smile is on her face.
-----"Enjoy yourselves." Sol says in a tone that indicates that he wants them to do nothing else but that. His eyes flicker around the crowd briefly. After a moment he gets the priest's attention, "Lovan." He then heads through the crowd, mug of ale still in hand and his attention still focused on the performers.
-----Mirian grabs Sarah's hand once more and curtsies to the beckoning admirers. "Follow my lead," the dancer quickly whispers to the mage. Mirian stops the last few appreciative calls by singing,

-----"I sing a song of love to thee
-----Drifting from my heart.
-----As I dance with you this night
-----May our souls ne'er part."

-----The song flows softly and at a slower tempo than the previous song, but the crowd falls silent as everyone watches the dancers again. Mirian raises her hands and begins swaying with her steps as she begins moving around the circle. Sarah follows suit and both women seem to glide about. Mirian then adds the next verse:

-----"For me, you hold enchantment.
-----Your strength will be my light
-----To guide me through my deepest fears.
-----And keep me safe at night."

-----The patrons watch with almost breathless reaction as Mirian stops in the middle and motions for Sarah to continue dancing around her. Mirian then pulls out a slender flute and begins playing the melody sweetly.
-----For the moment, Romney even looks relaxed though no smile forms on his face. Garrison does smile widely as he stands next to him and whispers.
-----Mirian finishes the song by singing two more verses while she moves once again occasionally cupping the chins of different males in the audience. As the song comes to an end, the crowd erupts into applause once more.
-----As coins are pitched and retrieved, a thin figure in a dark cloak steps forward and bows to Sarah. The person appears to be a man although his form is clothed in black and gray shades. His facial features are somewhat shaded by a black skullcap.
-----Romney and Garrison immediately step forward looking as if they are ready to pounce but maintain their position right behind the young mage.
-----Immediately Sol leaves Lovan to his own devices and threads his way through the crowd, moving to stand just close enough behind the man so that he can act, if needed. At the moment however, Sol looks to be erring more on the side of caution, a very neutral expression having donned the warrior's features. It wouldn't be in the spirit of the evening to jump on someone paying their respects, after all.
-----As Sarah finishes the dance, her owl flies into the hall, chirping merrily as it flies over to Sol's shoulder and perches there, snuggling up against the warrior's cheek. As soon as Sarah is done dancing, he flies to her shoulder, Sarah leans down and kisses Chessie's feathers, smoothing them lovingly before turning to the man in black. "I come from a castle a good distance away from here." She tells the man cryptically. "May I ask who wishes to know?" She says absolutely politely, acting like she's just curious.
