-----Upon entering the tavern, Lord Howrun is seen still talking with the two other people at the opposite end of the hall. A few hunters and warriors are seen standing near them, however, and it is obvious that in light of the activity outside the tavern, the security has been stepped up.
-----Sol is seen speaking with Mirian over to one side with Garrison standing near them. Romney continues to watch the crowd as Lovan orders another drink.
-----Through the crowd comes a young elven male dressed in robes of light green. He bows to Raven and Rinda as they enter and says, "I am sorry that you were burdened with such oafs, my friends. Please understand that is not the way of most who live in the Silver Woods. Permit me to seat you again and see to your service."
-----The elf's expression is sincere on his thin but strong face that is framed with straight brown hair.
-----Sol's chat to Mirian is quick indeed and soon he's making his way through the crowd, to head outside and speak with Roderun.
-----Sarah sighs as she realizes that Sol is running ahead of her yet again. "Sol!" She says loudly as she gets near him, she grabs his sleeve before he can run off anywhere else. "What's going on?" She asks him, sounding worried, glancing around.
-----A smile of encouragement is Sol's reply, though from the look of things, he may need one in return, "I'm almost completely unsure o' what's going on. My lack o' surety is complete. Almost. Wi' any luck, I'll get th' chance t'have a look at th' dead man's abode. Wi' more luck, ye'll come with me."
-----Sol looks back at Roderun and waits for an answer. It seems that finishing eating is the last thing on the Gorian's mind.
-----Seeing Sol head outside with Sarah in tow, Raven and Rinda quickly follow. As they exit, they see Sol speaking with the ranger.
-----Roderon frowns at Sol saying, "Second attack?" Then his face lightens with recall. "Oh yes, that might be the attack Raven spoke of earlier."
-----Lord Howrun's ranger indicates one of the men helping with the slain man's body. "Yes," he tells Sol, "the dead man is a local. One of these men might be able to tell you where he lived."
-----The man that Roderon spoke of looks up at Sol and the young warrior can see he has a baldpate with patches of black hair on the sides of his head. As he and the others struggle with the now covered body, he says, "Aye, Frederik was a decent man, he was. Work hard n' ne'er strayin' int' troubl'. Lots worse deservin' this, not Frederik."
-----"Can ye take me t'his place? I'm sorry t'ask ye away from th' feast but I need t'see if there's anything at his place that may tell us why this is happening. I guess directions would do, if it's not too far." Sol eyes the baldpated man questioningly.
-----A surprised look takes the man's face, but he answers Sol, "Aye, I s'pose I kin lead ye there. We prob'bly need t'go by 'is dwellin' n' see after 'is willin'."
-----Sarah glances at the man, "What did Frederick do?" She asks.
-----The man then nods to Sarah and says, "Frederik, he be a carver of wood. Did some real nice work, he did."
-----Romney then asks Sol, "Are we all going or shall some of us stay here?"
-----Raven speaks up, "I'll tag along. There are some strange doings happening around here. I think it best if the group stick together until we get some answers."
-----The entire group of the adventurers' party gathers together to follow the men helping with Frederik's body. Roderon chooses to stay in the tavern to help guard his liege.
-----Lovan appears enthusiastic as he steps out in the rain once more with his mug in hand. Mirian is brought along under the watchful eyes of Romney and Garrison.
-----Everyone trudges behind the men carrying the body and the situation takes on the appearance of a funeral procession. They move between the partly darkened buildings down the main trail away from the tavern and the inn.
-----Small lanterns suspended on poles by the side of the trail provide a bit of light though the flames burn low with the moisture in the air. The shadows they cast do little but to keep everyone watching in the darkness that fills the area between the trees. At the same time, many of the buildings have light glowing in their upper stories where families must dwell above their shops.
-----Finally the procession comes to a small home with a thatched roof. The home features fine detail around the door and windows and there appears to be a workshop behind the dwelling. The sign over the door identifies it as the home of a woodworker.
