-----Raven yells up at the woman, "What you offer to us if we win is lacking. If we want to go freely pass this broken down pile of stones, we'll do so even if it means stepping over your arrow riddled body. There is no reason for us to risk our lives just to test your skill with a hammer." Raven points at her, "And if you use any of your god's magic on us, like clouding our minds with fear, you'll not be facing just one of us, but all of us."
-----Raven grabs his bow, but does not draw on the woman. Raven snarls, "Stand down and let us pass in peace."
-----Rinda likewise grips her bow keeping half an eye on Raven should the hunter begin to move.
-----"Fools!" Murna's dark eyes blaze as she speaks loudly. Her lean strong muscles in her face work as a sense of rage seems to come forth. She turns slightly and faces Sol more fully as she looks from the young Gorian to Raven and then to Lord Howrun. She looks as though she could rush Sol at any moment, but she holds her stance, shield braced and hammer raised.
-----"You fear to face me!" she angrily shouts, "Here you stand with your entire army about you and none of you has the courage to face me in battle!"
-----Garrison sits taller in his saddle shielding Mirian with his body should any mischief take place. From behind Raven and Rinda, the woodsman says lowly, "This one has lost her mind. As if we don't have to worry about somebody shooting arrows at us too."
-----Romney moves a bit closer to Sarah while placing his hand on his sheathed sword.
-----"Sorry," Lovan suddenly says interrupting the proceedings, "but yesterday this army slew the biggest green dragon you ever saw." As the storm priest climbs down from his saddle, he adds, "So you'll excuse us if we seem a bit slow. You look rather puny compared to it."
-----With an amazingly loud cry, the woman's temper breaks and she bolts at a sprint toward Lovan. As the storm priest turns, his eyes grow large at the approaching enraged woman.
-----As riders turn their steeds or dismount in a hurry, Murna raises her weapon and brings it down toward Lovan's head. Quickly the priest ducks and rolls, avoiding the attack.
-----The moment Murna charged, Sol's sword came out of its sheath. However as it seemed he wasn't the object of the charge, he didn't react in time. He follows the maddened woman as she runs at Lovan, and as the storm priest completes his evasive roll, Sol levels two quick blows with the flat of his blade at Murna's head. "Time t'sleep, madwoman." Sol adds.
-----Raven snarls and says to Sol, "Don't take her lightly friend. We do not know much about her..." Raven places an arrow in his bow and keeps a lookout for any of Murna's friends.
-----Sol's sword rings twice as the weapon slams against the woman's temples. Murna's arms begin to flounder as her shield begins to slump off of one arm. With a heavy thud, her warhammer falls to the ground. She stands on wobbly knees to face Sol and the young warrior can see the glazed eyes and open mouth of the woman all rage seemingly passed from her features.
-----Within seconds her entire form relaxes and she collapses to the ground unconscious.
-----Sol looks up to see the surprised expression of the guards and the archers as they relax and lower their weapons.
-----Lovan stands and looks from the unconscious woman to Sol with an unreadable expression.
-----Raising a hand, Lord Howrun calmly says, "Enough of this folly. Let us leave her here. We can be detained no longer." The Lord of Silvergard then gives a signal for his scouts to move out.
-----Raven walks up to Sol and looks down at Murna. Raven nods and then says, "Nice work Sol. You dropped her like a sack of dirt." Raven looks over at the old keep, "Let's get the hell out of here. This place makes me uneasy."
-----Raven returns to his horse and starts to follow the troop.
-----Sarah lets her spell fizzle out as Sol takes care of things quite easily. "Well...um....onwards then I suppose." She says, not quite sure what to do with the unconscious storm priestess.
-----"I'll catch up when I can, Raven. I don't think I...can just leave things here. There's something I want to sort out." Sol nods to the hunter as he mounts up and looks first at Sarah before looking with an inquisitive, resigned look at Lovan.
-----"Would ye have preferred that I let her continue t'try an' cave yer skull in, Lovan?" He asks, bending down to roll Murna over onto her side in case of choking on her own vomit. The warrior seems to be slightly agitated about something, and despite asking, Lovan's coming answer doesn't seem to be the cause.
-----Sarah can tell that Sol is agitated, but she isn't sure if this is something she should do anything about...so she mounts Marlexana and waits around for a few seconds to see if she should stay or go.
