-----Anger flashes across his face as Lovan answers, "She should die." Looking at Sol, he adds, "You should have taken her head."
-----Up until now, Romney had watched Lord Howrun and the departing woodsmen and elves. Now the guard from Oakwood seems shocked back to his senses. A stern frown furrows his brow as he dismounts and walks toward Sol and the unconscious woman. Without looking at the storm priest, Romney tells him, "By Holy Joren, Lovan, leave her alone."
-----For the moment, the storm priest steps back and says nothing.
-----Bending down to help with the woman, Romney says lowly, "If we were in Oakwood, Sir Greene would insist that this woman be taken prisoner or at least looked after. I cannot, for my life, understand the ways of these people here in Silvergard. Were this woman to be left here, she could fall prey to wolves, humanoids or worse."
-----"You are right, Sol. I, for one, cannot leave this woman here. I say we either stay with her or bring her with us." Looking at the departing troop, he continues, "If not for the sake of justice, then for the sake of this woman's safety."
-----Garrison rubs his head as if clearing a headache while a smile forms on his face. "Well, let's not forget whoever is trying to kill Sol may be tracking us now. I say we take her with us."
-----Mirian clings to Garrison with a fearful glance at the unconscious Murna. Her expression changes to that of compassion as Romney speaks.
-----"I take it the woman is alone," the Oakwood guard says, looking at the keep. "I have yet to see any sign of life there."
-----"I didn't kill her because of th' god she represents. I'm just getting tired of their apparent fool notions o' making nuisances of themselves. They seem t'ferget that they're normal people like th' rest o' us." Sol says as he frowns down at the unconscious woman.
-----It was Mirian's situation that drew Sol's attention next. "Romney, you an' Garrison should catch up with Lord Howrun's troop now. Mirian should be making use o' th' protection that th' elvish troop provides. I'll catch up when I can, but first I want t'see if it's possible t'have some semblance of a rational conversation wi' this woman. At very least, she could not ha' been responsible alone fer th' castle's good repair."
-----Sol then bends down and retrieves the warhammer from the body, hooking it onto his own belt. He then reaches into his backpack and after a moment's fumbling, produces a waterskin. Unstoppering it, he begins to slowly trickle it onto Murna's face, interspersed with light taps to the woman's cheeks with his fingers.
-----Raven looks back at the group gathered around Murna, "It was noble of Sol to spare her life. I do partly agree with Lovan, Sol would of been within his rights to kill Murna. All that changed when Sol spared her life. Now we must take her with us. We should make haste to rejoin the group. There will be time to question Murna later after we rejoin the main group. Unless any of you wish to explore her keep for clues to her insanity." Raven returns to help secure Murna and make her transport go as smooth as possible. Raven's tone is matter of fact and hold's no anger or displeasure.
-----"No, it's not exploration I intend. I just do not believe we should take her with us. I'm sure Lord Howrun would not appreciate it either..." Sol mentions grimly as he holds out a 'wait' signal to Raven. "I do not intend to talk for long, but I do want it over with. I'm on new ground here and th' last thing I want is to do something...offensive t'higher 'powers'."
-----As the water trickles onto Murna's face, the woman groans painfully with her eyes closed. Suddenly her eyes open revealing the anger that draws her features into a menacing scowl. She launches herself up into a sitting position and swings one strong fist at Sol's head.
-----"Off me, you bastard! You'll not have your way with me!" she hisses. Murna's swings misses Sol who leans back to avoid her.
-----Romney stands and draws his sword not having the time to depart just yet.
-----"The Hunter calls for calm!" Rinda announces. Turning everyone sees the huntress off her horse standing just behind Murna's prone position with her club extended overhead.
-----Just as quickly the agitated movements of the woman stop. Her face relaxes a bit though the stern look does not totally fade. She slowly rises; her shining chain armor a contrast to the darkness of her hair and eyes. She raises her chin and looks down her thin long nose at the huntress but not in any defiant way. Her eyes reflect curiosity.
-----The wolf looks up at Murna from behind Rinda's legs as the huntress speaks. "Murna, if that is your name, you will find no one here who wants to hurt you. You are a friend as," and here she points to Sol, "Sol Herron is. I will let him ask you questions and I would like to hear your answers."
