-----From the doorway to the inn, pale light spills out as someone opens the door and emerges outside. That someone proves to have a curious appearance. There before them, stands a tall half-elven male, though his features greatly favor his elven heritage. He holds aloft an oil lantern, which emits a warm glow in a large-sized radius.
-----The face of the half-elf is very handsome and the expression he has is friendly if not puzzled by the appearance of the adventurers into the quiet village. His ears extend through the long blond hair, which flows past his shoulders. His finely chiseled features provide a contrast to his thin and lean form and his eyes seem to radiate a worldly intelligence. His clothing appears to be light not only in color but also in how it hangs on his tall form.
-----He pauses for a moment, as he looks over the new visitors and then calls to them in a low, but strong voice, "Greetings travelers, welcome to our humble village of Tre. I am Davan and you stand before the Wood’s Inn. Here you shall find its door flung open to you and its modest hospitalities are for your comfort. I would imagine you have been travelling all the past day and need rest and perhaps food. Please take your horses around to the stable and I shall see to your needs on this night. May I especially help the Ladies inside with what they carry?"
-----Sarah smiles at the handsome half elf. "Yes, you especially may!" She says to him. She dismounts and leads Marlexana to the stables.
-----Seth appears startled to see one like himself, although like he and Kazel there must be many half-breeds around. In the Elven tongue, Seth greets the Half-elf.
-----Davan bows toward Seth, a smile beaming on his face as he motions to his new guests to come inside.
-----Seth smiles back at Davan. "I'll just put the El Binko to bed," he motions towards his horse. Seth leads the horse to the stables and while there cuts up some apple he saved from earlier and feeds some to The El Binko and some to Albert.
-----Sol briefly smiles back at the innkeeper, though he turns his attention to Raven, "Raven, where are you and Rinda staying this evening? And do you have a preference on where our new 'friends' sleep?"
-----"Thanks mister, but I can carry my stuff just fine, after all these miles!" Kazel says cheerfully to Davan as she hops off her horse, already looking much more practiced at it than the day before. She quickly leads the horse to the stables as the others do, but then stops and looks at the prisoners.
-----"Well, should I hitch these three from the stables rafters? If that's all right with you, 'course. They'll just be hanging around and won't touch a thing," she nods towards the innkeeper and Sol.
-----Sol sighs deeply and grumbles, "Thanks Kaz." He flashes her a wry, amused look.
-----Raven gets off his horse and says, "Let's keep them in stables. Rinda and I can watch them." Raven looks over at bandits, "You guys won't give us trouble right?"
-----Sol finally nods his head in assent. He dismounts and leads Thunder to the stables.
-----The innkeeper suddenly sees the prisoners tied together and approaches Sol and Raven. The half-elf seems to be nearly as tall as Sol. In a calm tone, he inquires, "Who are these men that you bring tied together as captives?"
-----Sol takes a few moments and shows Davan the writ from Hearthorn. He then explains the encounter the party had with the brigands. The half-elven innkeeper places his hand on his chin and eyes the prisoners.
-----Finally nodding his head, he tells them, "I am a peaceful man and believe that you wish no cruelty upon your prisoners. I have a cellar below the inn that contains a few storerooms, which can be locked. It would be dry and comfortable enough for them and would provide less of a worry to you."
-----Looking at Raven and Rinda, Davan says smiling, "You are welcome to stay where you wish, however my inn provides comfort to everyone, even those who prefer the out of doors. At the very least, please come inside and have something to eat."
-----"If yer willin' to do that fer us, then thank you. As soon as I take Thunder to the stables, with your lead, I'll escort these failed brigands to your cellar." Sol then leads his stallion to the stables.
-----Raven nods, "Aye that sounds good. Let’s keep the bandits in your cellar then." Raven glances over at Rinda, "I guess one night indoors wouldn't kill us." Raven smiles, "Thank you for offering us to use your cellar."
-----Kazel looks a little disappointed, but prepares to help lock the prisoners up in the cellar as she proceeds to the inn.
-----Inside, everyone sees the main room of the Wood’s Inn looks surprisingly large and cozy. Deer meat and other food cooks in a large fireplace and tables, chairs, and benches fill the room. The exposed wood in the walls and the light green and tan color of the wall hangings give a rustic look to the place. Curiously, the inn seems devoid of other visitors.
