-----Raven says to the bandits, "We should bring you three to the nearest town and let them decide what to do with ya." Raven turns and points to all the dead bodies, "All these men and elves had family that will miss them forever. Your evil deed did more than just kill these men, you have hurt hundreds of humans and elves." Raven pauses as he tries to control himself, "If you tell us everything you know or what you think you know, I'll tell those town folk about the help you gave us. Otherwise I'll kill you all with my bare hands." Raven face is twisted with the anger he is trying to control.
-----Sarah is now mere inches away from the webbing effect. Crouching down, she begins to draw runes in the dirt with her wand.
-----"You have some nerve but no sense. I don't even need to read your brain to see your lies. A man told you to cause some drama round here...but you never talked to him, eh? What'd he do, send you all a letter? If scum like you could read you wouldn't be hired muscle."
-----Sarah’s drawing now includes three primitive looking stick figures in the middle of a massive inferno, complete with demons around the poor unfortunates. A circle of runes completes the picture.
-----Sarah steps back and smiles at the picture, then raises her head to look right into the eyes of the center bandit. "This is your last chance. Tell me exactly how to find this man and the webs will disappear. If you lie they will ignite..." Sarah trails off and stares down at her demonic picture.
-----The eyes of webbed men bulge out as they stare down at the drawings in the dirt. They frantically look at Sol and the answers come quickly once again. "Thar be a battle tooken place ‘ere but it won’t no fight we started! We just found ‘em like this ‘ere! We heared yer horses and took ta hidin’ like we dids! We don’ know how ta find this man! We jest gets word from other’n bands like us! If’n I was lookin’ fer ‘em, I’d keep a’lookout fer other bands o’ highwaymen ‘round Proat n’ Oakwood town!
-----Sol speaks to bandits again, "I dunno 'bout my friends, but I've got just two more questions. What was your leader’s name? And have ye heard of any unusual occurrences around Oakwood? No matter how insignificant you might feel it is, spit it out. Or I leave ye to the 'witch's' tender mercies."
-----"Hiram, over there, was the one we’s all looked up to, he was!" one of the webbed bandits motions over to one of the dead bandits the party slew. "We’d tries ta keep ‘way from Oakwood town! There’d be talk o’ witch magic n’ cursed places in them woods! Farther on, word’d come through ‘bout orcs n’ worse comin’ to raid n’ pillage!"
-----Raven listens to the bandit quietly. When the bandit speaks about orcs, Raven's eye flash with anger. "Damn, this is just getting better by the minute ain't it?" Raven turns towards the group, "After we turn these three over to the nearest town, we're off to Oakwood. Agreed?"
-----"Yeah, agreed." Sol answers, "Though speaking of these three, what are we goin' ta do about the web? Sarah, Seth, can you make it go?"
-----"Sure," Kazel yells back. Hands in her pockets, she turns over a bandit corpse with a kick and idly examines it. "But then I thought we were going there anyway."
-----The Dread Pirate speaks with Kazel and Seth as they look over the tragic prone bodies scattered apart. At one point, Gimplefwick draws forth a bandana and appears to be visibly upset. He then goes about with Seth walking from one body to the next, kneeling as if looking for some sign of reason to the horrid scene set before them.
-----Finally, he pauses and recovering his wits, scoops up a handful of small pebbles in the eroded ground. He then begins to throw the pebbles one at a time toward the captive men caught in Sarah’s web. Some of the pebbles hit the webbing and stick there. Occasionally, a small pebble strikes an exposed nose, face or arm drawing a pained response from the bandits.
-----Seth wanders over near Kazel and Dread and talks to them. Then Seth takes out his harp and begins to play a mournful dirge in honour of all that were slain, Elves, Humans and Brigands.
-----Sarah grins up at the bandits. "Right on." She says to Raven, in response to his forest expedition plans. To Sol she says. "Course I can make it go away, I cast it."
-----To everyone, she says, "Ready to let these guys go?" Sarah then steps back behind Sol and Raven to dispel the web.
-----Sol draws his longsword in preparation for the spell's cancellation. "Alright, you lot." He raises his voice to the trapped bandits, "If any of ye run, I'll personally run ye down and kill ye. If ye try and fight us, the result will be the same, just a lot quicker. So behave, and drop ALL yer weapons as soon as the web goes."
-----Raven glances back at Kaz and mutters something under his breath. Turning his attention back to the bandits, Raven draws his swords. "Do like the man said and a make the smart choice for once in your lives." Raven motions for Rinda to cover the bandits with her bow.
-----Raven says to Sarah, "Okay let 'em go."
