-----Raven turns towards the trapped men and raises his bow. "You want to live? If you want to live, start talking about what happened here!"
-----One of the webbed bandits has just his face protruding from the sticky goo. He snarls at Raven and spits on the ground in front of him. One of his companions struggle to free an arm although he appears to be stuck too tightly. The last man lets out a disgusted sound otherwise ignoring the requests to talk.
-----Gimplefwick picks up a stick off the ground and touches the webs with it. He pokes at them and forces the stick into the mass. Letting go of it, the stick projects from the webbing.
-----Seth puts away his sling and draws the old rusty dagger the Dread Pirate lent him so long ago. As every one seems dead or tied up, he methodically starts going through the dead bodies searching for anything of interest, with his rusty dagger ready to protect him from anyone pretending to be dead.
-----"Shall we collect all the weapons and armour from the dead? It might be worth something?"
-----Sol turns his head to consider Seth's question, "If ye'd like. Though I don't personally intend to lug all this stuff around. And at this point I don't want to do anything that might offend elves or woodsmen alike."
-----Sol then returns his attention to those stuck in the web, "Are you idiots trying to show loyalty to your dead boss, or his live one? I mean if yer all so tired of life, I can understand..." He leaves the point hanging, if he ever had one.
-----Raven looks over at Sol as he speaks. Raven then says, "Damn, Sol these must be the stupidest bunch we've ever met." Raven shakes his head. Raven lets out a sigh as he looks over to Sarah, "Since they won't talk, you better get that spell ready that collects their souls for the master." Raven looks back at the trapped men and flashes them a broad smile. "If you have any last words now is the time to say 'em."
-----Sarah’s grin is still present but something is different in her eyes. The hooded sorceress looks more like a demon now than the angel she has been called before. She walks slowly over to the webbed men and says slowly, "You know how the soul harvest works? I sacrifice you. I can do it at the same time for all three of you. One of the best ways to do it is a funeral pyre. You ever seen spider web burn?"
-----Sarah takes out a flint and steel and says to the three men. "You better tell my friends here what they want to know, or I'll torch you and your souls will be my playthings in the pits of Annwyn. I can light you up like candles before they'll stop me. It doesn't take much to get this stuff going. Talk fast and I'll let you run for it."
-----Making sure the bandits can't see his face, Raven turns towards Sol and mouths, "She's good!"
-----The three ruffians in the web suddenly stop struggling and look wide-eyed at Sarah. A certain amount of perspiration collects on their faces and their defiant expressions vanish. "A witch!" one whispers. Quickly all three look toward Raven and Sol with pity on their faces. "Aw rite!" one squeals, "What’s ya wantin’ ta know? We swears we’s tells ya! Jest don’ be givin’ us to yer witch!"
-----"Shiver me timbers," the Dread Pirate murmurs somewhat impressed.
-----Sol continues speaking in jovial enough tones, "What we want to know is who yer boss was working for. You lot are no plain bunch of bandits . . . So tell us what yer doing here, and under whose direction."
-----Raven nods, "Speak the truth. She can tell if you’re lying." Raven glances over to Sarah, "Your god help you if you lie."
-----The three bandits start talking one after another. "Thar be a man in Oakwood town! We don’ be knowin’ ‘is name! We ne’er spoke to ‘im, but I heared it said he has strange lookin’ eyes what seem ta look right through ya! We was ta stir up fightin’ ‘monst the elves and some o’ the men folk what live in this area! That’s all we been told, it has! Now ye said ya’d let us go, right!" They continue to plead with Sol and Raven, not daring to make eye contact with Sarah.
-----Gimplefwick begins to help Seth look among the dead bandits.
-----Meanwhile, Kazel contents herself with picking up her stuff and helping Seth search the bodies for any interesting items and clues as to what happened at the massacre site. She occasionally glances over at the webbed men indicating her attention to what they are saying.
-----"That's the problem with guttin' the leader. The grunts never know enough." Sol comments wryly to Raven. Raising his voice, he speaks to the bandits again, "Well, I never said I'd let ye go. Just said yer life expectancy wasn't high if ye didn't cooperate. I wouldn't be doin' the locals any favours lettin' you leeches free."
-----"Ask them what happened here and why they were playing dead," Kazel calls out from a distance as she patrols the field. She appears to be holding up something and squinting at it. "And where that shifty-eyed man stays in Oakwood."
-----"Okay lads, y'all heard her. No real need to make me repeat it, so just answer quick, yeah?" Sol drawls.
