-----Thalog and the dark woman follow the other three and the mage is overheard asking, "What is kept in the back of the cave?"
-----The rough feminine voice replies, "We keep the stuff that was stolen in the countryside stashed here."
-----As the group walks beyond the pool, they finally see the back of the cave a few feet away. Slung about are the makings of crude beddings. To one side stands a medium-sized table upon which lie a number of shiny items such as jewelry and other works. Under and to the right of the table, there are at least a half dozen shields and a score of various weapons. To the left of the table is a large trunk, its lid secured by a good-sized lock.
-----As they stand looking over the items, Thalog says to Rand, "Rand, some kind of ruse has been at work here. The ones that were here, including Andra," he says, pointing to the large dark veiled woman beside him, "wear the garments of worshippers of Sycros, but look at her weapon."
-----Thalog holds up a dagger he borrowed from Andra. The blade shines brightly in the light and its hilt is wrapped with a bluish décor. Affixed to the pommel is a symbol of a black disk on a field of dark blue. Thalog continues, with an unfeeling tone, "This weapon identifies her as a follower of Noctura."
-----Raven enters the cave and joins the others at the back. Walking up to Zentil, he says, "Hey, do you wear leather armor? The human pin-cushion out there had a nice suit, might even be charmed. Of course it didn't help him much today, but maybe you'll have better luck." Raven gives Zentil a slight smile.
-----Raven then says to Thalog, "I also found a scroll case. Sarah is looking at it right now. Maybe you could help her figure out what the hell it does." Raven turns and starts to search the cave.
-----Zentil kneels in front of the trunk and begins to examine the good-sized lock.
-----"Those are two names I don't particularly want to hear," Sol scowls before moving over to stand near Zentil, keeping a suspicious, almost superstitious eye on the trunk.
-----Zentil pulls his set of tools from his large belt pouch and begins to pick the lock.
-----Raven looks through the items on the table looking for anything of interest. Raven keeps glancing at Zentil. Finally Raven says to Zentil, "You know how to open locks without the key?" Raven pauses, "That's great if you do. A very handy skill." Raven looks back down at the item, but gives Zentil one more quick glance.
-----With a very deft quick movement, Zentil works momentarily at the lock and suddenly a click is heard. The elf then removes the lock from the latch on the trunk and sets it aside. He carefully raises the lid and looks inside.
-----As everyone watches Zentil work, Sarah is suddenly there at Sol’s side and she asks him, "What the hell did you mean by ‘those are two names I don't want to hear’."
-----Being intent on Zentil's work on the chest, Sol gives a startled jump at Sarah's appearance. "Huh? oh...The two forces of evil that Rand mentioned. Who did you think I meant...?" A look of embarrassed understanding flashes on Sol's face, "...oh."
-----"Looks like a bunch of expensive junk, some cloth, and this..." Zentil retrieves a scroll case from the trunk, opens it, and looks inside.
-----Thalog looks over Zentil’s shoulder. "Do you mind if I take a look at that scroll case?"
-----"Not at all," replies Zentil. Zentil pulls the scroll out and hands the case to Thalog. Zentil then unrolls the scroll and examines it.
-----Sarah smiles at Sol to show it’s ok, then Sarah gets behind Raven and stands on her tip toes trying to read over his shoulder.
-----"Bah... ," says Zentil rolling the scroll back up. He holds the scroll out for Thalog to take.
-----Sol runs a hand through his hair, and lets out a breath. Looking around for something to do, he soon comes to a decision. "I'll go keep watch and check on the horses." With that he begins walking towards the cave entrance.
-----Sarah attempts to snatch the scroll out of Zentil’s hand before Thalog can grab it. She succeeds, drawing a raised eyebrow from Thalog.
-----Raven just looks at Sarah and shakes his head. Raven then says, "Let's gather what ever we want to keep, destroy this temple and then head off to see who attacked the keep." Raven turns to Zentil and says, "Is any of this stuff on the table worth anything? I've never seen so many...things in my life. I bet you have a better eye than I in sorting out the junk." Raven then looks for a blunt weapon he can use to smash the temple.
-----Thalog turns to the muscular woman Andra. Closing his eyes as if suffering from a sudden fatigue, he asks her, "Andra, I am curious. Do you and the others that were here follow a certain god or goddess? If so, which one?"
