-----Dread nods at Seth's advice, "Aye, well then, he can cover one of our flanks if'n he's willing. He's probably not as good at hidin and movin quietly as Kaz though. Frankly, I don't see how he could be. If'n ye catch me meanin. She's really best suited fer takin point."
-----Sol who had been either nodding in agreement or frowning in consideration at all the talk, suddenly appears like a deer caught in a continual light spell. He relaxes slightly and smiles down at Sarah. In a bid to regain some level of 'professionalism', Sol loses the smile and looks back to Dread. "Well, you know me...I'm prepared to have a go at anything, whether hiking our way on foot, or riding through whatever happens to be in our way. I do like yer plan, though." He says.
-----The warrior then thinks a moment before adding, "I don't think Krondor has much in th' way o' information gathering here. Devlin was supposed to have all that well in hand, with Woder an' all. Also, Krondor won't be aware of Devlin's loss fer a little while yet. We only took her out this morning, which is when we took Krondor's two 'ambassodors'. Th' sod must've had some falling out wi' Devlin, as he was trying to buy back into her graces." Sol snorts to show what he thinks of the former High Priestess' graces.
-----Lastly, with a frown, Sol says, "Unfortunately, we won't be able to expect Sir Greene to help by coming in after us. He's already helped us to th' extent of his resources allow. It will take him some time t'secure Oakwood again, considering he has t'spread his troops back north. An' we all well know how much bloody help Sir Hampton needs. Brandel, I don't suppose ye know if Sir Zantar still has a hold on th' town o' Redmarsh?"
-----Dread grins and replies, "I don't know, but watchin this place is what I'd do, if'n I were Krondor. After all, it’s the base of operations of one of his major enemies. And he can disguise any of his operatives as peasants or townsfolk. And I'm gonna go out on a limb here and think that he probably wouldn't have risen as high in his organization if'n he were an idiot. So it’s best to proceed under the assumption that this place is bein watched. Even if ye killed Devlin and a whole horde of evil doers. Furthermore, we don't know what method o' communication Devlin and Krondor had. Maybe they had some sort o' magical communication device and they talked to each other every couple o' days. Again, it’s best to proceed under the assumption that he'll know somethin has happened. If'n he has ogres, undead, werewolves, and dragons out there workin fer him, I prefer not to make any assumptions."
-----At Sol's words about Sir Greene, Dread responds, "Hmmm, well, that’s probably just as well. We'll just sneak in, kill Krondor, and sneak back out. As quickly as we can. It'd be nice to be able to hold the keep til reinforcements arrive, but if that’s not a possibility, then it’s really easier fer us anyway."
-----When Sarah slips her arm around Sol, Dread looks seriously at the two of them, "I just want the two of ye to know, that ye'd best leave yer emotional baggage behind. Leave it here at the keep. If I'm goin to be riskin me life, I don't want a couple o' me allies only havin eyes fer each other. Fer instance, if Sol were to fall in a battle, it'd be bad time fer Sarah to abandon her spellcastin and run to see if he's all right. Or vice versa. I'm not sayin it'd happen, but it might prove the undoing of everybody if we were to effectively lose two of ye because one fell. Ye can pick up yer relationship when we're safely back home and Krondor is dead. This is a deal breaker fer me anyway. Ye'll have to put yer emotions on hold til the mission is over. I wouldn't say anythin, but I've seen Sarah get pretty emotional and out o' control over that Repe guy. We can't have that again. It puts us all at risk. Let professionalism be yer watchword."
-----Brandel replies to Sol, "From what you have said, the situation in Oakwood is like it is in Redmarsh though not as dire. Aye, the last we heard Sir Zantar still had control of his town."
-----Looking around at everyone, the young man adds, "Sir Zantar is a good man. He has always treated everyone fairly from what I have seen."
-----The huge Krord stands over Brandel watching him and nodding with a blank look.
-----Marast raises an eyebrow at the Dread Pirate; the elf’s face a mixture of confusion and anger. Though he looks as though he could say something, he simply stands still with his arms crossed.
-----"Perhaps we could ride to the edge of Oakwood or even as far as the village of Grute?" Romney asks, "It would take over a day to get that far on horseback." The guard looks back and forth between Sol and the Dread Pirate.
-----Seth waits for Brandel to answer Sol's question and then announces, "Well, if we are leaving tomorrow, I have quite a few things to organize before we leave, as well as a bit of study. As Sarah mentioned earlier before, she has to study as well. I suggest you meet us at our Inn for breakfast." With that he makes a move for the door and waves good bye, "Cheerio!"
-----"Goodnight Seth. Just tell me th' name o' yer inn first!" Sol then turns to looks at Kazel and frowns, "There's no need fer that Kaz. A bit o' vandalism here just means some servant who's done nothing t'ye is going t'have t'clean it up. If ye've got disagreements on how Sir Greene is running things, take them up with him."
