-----Seth smiles at Woder. "Yes, that's right, I am a famous musician in Hearthorn, known for my exquisite harp playing. You probably saw me play in a tavern." Seth stands. "Excuse me for a moment. I must set some instructions for my loyal companion, Sol."
-----Seth moves over to Sol and whispers to him. Seth whispers, " I have cast a charm spell on him, I am going to get him to tell us the truth and aid us to get to the cave and rescue Repe. Up to you about untying him though. I am pretty certain he is under control of my spell."
-----Raven with the wolf appears out of the darkened doorway. It appears that Raven has been watching Seth and Sol interact with Woder for a while now.
-----Raven says to Seth, "Good job, Seth. A kinder, gentler Woder will help our cause." Raven starts towards the door leading to the inner courtyard. Raven stops when he sees Kaz. Raven says to Kaz, "How about giving me a hand with the guards? Might as well bring them down here. Do you know if there is a dungeon or guard house we can lock them up in?" The last statement seemed to go out to the whole group.
-----"Yes, you are the musician," answers Woder with a slightly dazed look, "you are also the one who helped stop Nodeus. You and your friends fought against me, Everly and Horace one night in the Market Place." The assassin’s tone seems calm and sounds as if he is simply stating facts.
-----Woder looks at Seth and then his eyes begin to shift around glancing at the others. He tells Seth, "I will help you, but none of the others. I do not trust them, especially that disgusting halfling."
-----Sol shudders upon Seth's explanation of what he cast on Woder. When Woder speaks to Seth, Sol says, "On that note, I think it's best if th' two o' ye did yer 'catching up' with him still tied up. I don't want another Dreda on our hands." The warrior then shakes his head indicating he doesn't want to elaborate.
-----That done with for the moment, Sol then speaks to Raven and Kazel, "Hey Raven, I'll help ye wi' the bodies. Maybe Kaz can search th' place fer a secure place t'put them while we do th' hauling."
-----Raven says, "Let’s go then." and then heads out the door into the courtyard.
-----Kazel nods and holds up a finger from the kitchen to indicate she'll be done in a moment. She then returns her attention to the cook.
-----Sol then turns to follow Raven out.
-----After a while, Seth remains sitting in front of Woder who is still tied up. Sarah stands quietly somewhat behind the captured assassin. Kazel sits over to one side by the kitchen talking with the cook.
-----Rinda brings out more food from the kitchen and sets it out on one of the long tables.
-----Sarah spares Woder a withering glare and walks outside to the courtyard, looking for Sol and Raven.
-----Kazel finishes talking with the cook, then gets up and does a thorough survey of the keep looking for any special layouts or secure rooms.
-----Sarah comes out of the keep just in time to first encounter the Dread Pirate standing by the bottom of the steps. Down in the courtyard, Raven and Sol stand in front of the captured guards they had rounded up. As Gimplefwick and Sarah look on, Raven firmly addresses one of the guards. He roughly removes the man's gag and says, "Well...will you face me, or were you too busy fillin' your pants to hear me?"
-----First an astonished look crosses the guard’s face and then his brow furrows into a frown. He tells Raven in a low voice, "Aye, . . . I be facin’ ya." Although the man lifts his chin to look down his nose at the hunter, a look in his eyes belies his unease.
-----Raven draws his right sword, roughly turns the man around and then cuts the ropes that bind his hands. Raven steps back from the man and then motions towards the bodies of the guards Sol killed. "Take what weapons you wish off these dead bastards, then we'll begin." Raven draws his left weapon. Raven shifts from one foot to the next as the man picks a weapon, giving the appearance of a caged animal waiting to be set free.
-----Sol watches the proceedings with a mixture of emotions. For one thing, it seems that he's certain about the outcome of the match, for he turns away from it, and slowly walks up to stand near Sarah. Once there, he turns and watches again, face still unable to be read.
-----"Somebody needs to control their dark side." Sarah says dryly. "But I'd hate to be the one to tell him that." Sarah sighs and keeps watching. "What happened?"
-----Sol replies quietly, his attention firmly on Raven and his opponent, "Raven knows this man as the one who injured the wolf with the arrow shot. Raven gave him a 'choice'." The tone in Sol's voice indicates how little choice there was in the matter.
-----"That’s sick. Tie that guy up again while I talk to Raven." Sarah says, her face showing her total disapproval. Sarah begins walking up to the two.
