-----Two more of the orcs face off against Garrison. The first one strikes in with its battleaxe just barely drawing blood on his arm. The second one, however, brings his axe to bear on the woodman's side just under the ribcage. Garrison looks badly injured by the cleaving of his leather armor and the blood that begins to flow.
-----The woodsman still fights back and quickly delivers a chop to one of the orcs that sends it to the ground wounded.
-----With a fierce growl, Raven's wolf bites into an orc's leg while the humanoid howls in pain. The orc then stabs down with its sword injuring the animal just above its left hind leg. The wolf moves back limping in pain as blood stains its coat.
-----A trio of orcs stands back from the fray a bit and stare in Sarah's direction. One of them yells in a raspy voice as it points toward her, "A witch! They have a witch! Kill her before she can use her magic!"
-----"Oh no ye bleedin' well don't!" Sol roars at the rasping orc, as he wheels Thunder slightly to bear down on the separated trio. His first target is obviously the speaker, and he raises himself in his stirrups to add some extra height to the coming blow. The Gorian's eyes are alight with anger as he brings the Lathanian blade down.
-----Raven, seeing that Sol has Sarah covered, heads off to attack the orc that hit the wolf.
-----Sarah's first instinct had been to attack the orcs that hit the wolf. The poor creature looked badly hurt to her. But Raven was moving so fast that she knew the orc would likely be headless by the time her spells were complete. Instead, she reaches into her pouch and pulls out some multi-colored sand. As she whispers into the sand it turns into several bolts of color and flies off towards the orcs.
-----Sarah then turns back to Caranip. "You may cast your spell at any time you see fit, Caranip." She says with an encouraging smile.
-----A bright arc of colors burst forth from the young mage's hand falling on the orc that was jabbing at Sol. Sarah smiles as the orc instantly drops its weapon and collapses to the ground.
-----Hardly paying any mind to the orc who scratched him, Raven swings his arm out and stabs the wretch through the neck. As it falls dead, the hunter's eyes are focused on the orc that faces the wolf.
-----Rinda struggles to get up and an angry look holds her face. As Pil tries to help her, the Huntress throws his arms off her and yells, "No, not me, go help Garrison!" The bronzed-skinned warrior then bounds off towards where the woodsman fights.
-----By this time, Raven stands just a few feet from his prey. The orc quickly turns toward him, the wolf forgotten for the moment. Just as the humanoid brings his sword higher to strike, Raven slashes in hitting the orc twice and ending its life.
-----Thunder charges into the vile trio of orcs. The stallion rears striking two of the orcs with its front hooves. One orc receives only a numbing scratch to its hand while the other is knocked down badly hurt.
-----As Thunder places his hooves down, Sol raises in the stirrups and swings downward. He instantly kills the third orc and then turns to his left. Bringing his blade up and across in an arc, the weapon then descends on the orc scratched by Thunder. Its dead body falls to the ground beside the orc that the stallion knocked down. The remaining orc raises himself slightly to look at his two dead companions and then begins to snarl upward toward the young warrior.
-----The orc at Garrison's feet screams in pain and terror. Meanwhile the other one that stands beside him strikes Garrison once more. That time, however, the orc's axe seems to graze the woodsman's arm.
-----Lovan is suddenly there and the storm priest wildly swings his warhammer at the offending humanoid and misses. Garrison grimaces and also swings at his attacker, but the orc leaps backward.
-----Strolum and Dilton quickly make short work of the orc at their feet.
-----Pil moves close to the orc menacing Lovan and Garrison. The orc quickly evades his sword also.
-----At this point, the hill is almost littered with bodies of orcs, although about a half-dozen would be in some form of unconsciousness. Three orcs remain: one beneath Thunder, one badly wounded on the ground near Garrison and the last one that is evading Garrison, Lovan and Pil.
-----Sarah sees that there are only three orcs left and lowers her hands. She knows that her companions will probably have them all on the ground before she can even get a spell off. Instead she swings herself off of Marlexana and coaxes Raven's wolf over to her side.
-----Sol returns the orc's gaze, and simply raises his blade once more. This time, the sword swings down, then across at a more horizontal angle.
-----Raven looks over the battlefield and thinks the three orcs' futures look grim. He then shifts his gaze towards the direction the orcs came from. Raven mumbles, "Could be more on the way." His eyes then look toward the sleeping orcs. "Time to tie up the loose ends." He begins to dispatch the sleeping orcs.
