-----Seth nods at Krord and after he rights the paladin to his feet and says, "Krord, I suggest you pick up the halfling and hold him up at arms' reach where he can do no one harm!"
-----Kazel puts on her knuckleduster and begins to pummel anyone who is still not under control until they pass out. She then collects the weapons of those who are knocked out and dump them in the wagon.
-----"My thanks to you," Lotley mutters with a somewhat dazed look in his eye as he faces Krord as the massive mercenary assists him. Following Seth's instructions, Krord then gently lifts the Dread Pirate before he can make a leap. Krord indeed holds the halfling pirate at arms' length as he glares at the humanoid companion of the paladin. Sir Slappy frowns back at Krord with a growing growl as spittle forms on the orc's lips.
-----Kazel suddenly seems to soar from the buckboard of the wagon moving in a descending motion toward the offensive orc. Landing on her feet and scoring a wild swing, Kazel punches Sir Slappy causing him to back up momentarily.
-----"I be usin' yer heads fer anvils lest ye be givin' up!" Runik yells to the three leather clad men Lotley fell on. The three still lie on their backs on the dusty road and can do little but look up at the angry dwarf. They relax as if to indicate surrender.
-----Meanwhile Amdracks stares unbelievably as Brandel stands over him.
-----The two merchants applaud with delight as Kazel causes the orc to back up. Just then three more men, wearing peasant clothing, exit the tavern and stop to watch.
-----Foaming at the mouth, the Dread Pirate attempts to swing his legs up and around Krord's arm. From this position he attempts to savagely bite Krord's restraining hand, in a berserk bid for freedom.
-----Seth tells the three men on the ground, "I think you and the farmer are mistaken. You should go on your way now as we will ours." He turns and looks at the two merchants and calls to them, "Gentlemen, we also are merchants. Please tell us what you deal in, perchance we may find some avenue to increase both our fortunes together?"
-----Kazel starts to help the knight up so he can take command of Sir Slappy, but she looks all around carefully if someone else suddenly needs to be pacified.
-----The Dread Pirate kicks madly in Krord's grip. He swings one leg up but fails to latch himself onto the mercenary's arm. Gimplefwick then swings his other leg up and this time his boot hooks around Krord's arm muscles. The big merc frowns as he watches the halfling pirate twist and squirm, ever bringing his mouth closer to Krord's hand.
-----The three opponents continue to lie still on the ground, not answering Seth and watching the warhammer dangling over their heads.
-----As Kazel stands in front of Sir Lotley, the paladin's eyes clear and he tells her, "My dearest Lubat, my thanks for your help although I am humbled before thy grace."
-----Excusing himself, he rushes to the orc's side, exclaiming, "Sir Slappy! How do you fare?"
-----The humanoid then shrinks back in disgust from the paladin.
-----Quickly explaining that Sir Slappy is too noble to ask for assistance with his wounds, Nylan then turns to face the frantically struggling Dread Pirate in Krord's arms.
-----"My friend!" Lotley says as he pats Gimplefwick's back, "My most sincere thanks to you. I did not see the attack that you saved me from. If not for thy quick and decisive action, the cads may have gotten the upper hand."
-----The paladin then turns to see the foes, some of which still slumber among their horses.
-----One of the merchants that Seth speaks to greedily accepts two gold coins from the other merchant who glumly surrenders the money. He then looks brightly at the musician and replies, "We are purveyors of exhibition spectacles! Why, this very situation your companions have been involved in has given us the genius for our next fortunes! We shall host spectacles of combat and battle, the like the world has not seen since the days of the Lathanian Empire!"
-----Flopping about like a fish, the Dread Pirate attempts to bite a large chunk out of Krord's hand, in the hopes that the large mercenary will drop him.
-----Kazel replies to the merchants as she busies herself with putting a bag over Gimplefwick and then beating him into submission like a pinata. "Aye, we might just be looking for a new business venture very soon. Where might you be holding these spectacles? Somewhere far away from Goria and these parts of Altoria I presume?"
-----Seth looks around hoping everything is under control, and begins to make his way back on to the wagon. Once he reseats himself, he asks Albert to scout around and see if there are any more surprises coming.
