-----The Dread Pirate's jaw snaps but fail to chomp on Krord's arm as the huge guard keeps a good grip on the berserk halfling.
-----Kazel tries twice to pop the sack over the Dread Pirate, but the squirming pirate moves from side to side causing the butcher to miss him.
-----In the meantime, the two merchants continue to watch as one answers, "Well, no we hadn't considered that." A frown comes over his face but his eyes seem to tell that his mind is racing with ideas. In the next moment, his expression eases as he adds, "Although we could tour toward the southeast until we reach Vigilance. If we make a tidy profit along the way, we may consider opening our own gladiatorial arena there."
-----Just then four young men exit the tavern. Their appearance is unkempt and slightly dirty while scowls adorn their faces. They stop just behind the merchants staring with disbelief at the commotion centered on Krord's arm. "What's ye gots thar?" one asks with an astonished look. "Ye gots some kind o' warthog ye be tryin' ta bag?"
-----The Dread Pirate spares a brief, teeth-bared growl at Kazel for her efforts in attempting to stuff him into a bag. He then recommences trying to chomp Krord's arm, or hand, or whatever he can get that might get him loose.
-----Eager to get out of here, Kazel delivers a fine uppercut to the backside of Dread's head as he hangs around on Krord's arms. She then repeats as necessary. "Ah Vigilance. That's a good place for business. And no, this is no warthog. He's a rare species of werehalfling. I think the other half is turnip, but I'm not sure."
-----Gimplefwick misses another chomp at Krord's arm as Kazel successfully slips the bag over the halfling's head and torso. The half-elven butcher then clubs at the back of the Dread Pirate's skull with her fist scoring a hit. The blow does not slow the pirate within although Krord begins shaking his arm to release the Dread Pirate.
-----"Werehalflin'?!" one of the unkempt young men sneers, "if'n he's some kinda monster, he needs ta die!"
-----Ignoring the remark made behind him, one of the merchants puts his hand to his chin in deep thought. "A werecreature. . . ," he thinks aloud, "It would be a worthy addition to our spectacle."
-----"Just think!" he says excitedly, grabbing his partner, "two foes fight in the center of a ring, the smaller one getting the life beaten from him, when suddenly, he changes into a beast that turns the tide of the match!"
-----By this time, Nylan Lotley has the three men who were not prey to Seth's sleep spell standing before him. The paladin calls the orc by his side as Runik rolls his eyes. The humanoid begrudgingly complies and as Sir Slappy moves, Sir Lotley scolds his adversaries, "How dare you assault the Righteous Worshipper of Holy Joren! If you are indeed followers of our faith, you should fall upon your knees begging forgiveness. If you are not, I would suggest you would turn aside from your lusty ways and accept the Righteous Law!"
-----Strangely, the three men look at each other and slowly kneel, bowing their heads with occasional glances at the paladin and orc who stand over them.
-----"No no, he is no monster. Just a misunderstood vegetable who needs to calm down." Kazel struggles to bag the whole halfling and tie up the bag securely, adding a punch here and there to help the process. "By the way, you would not happen to have seen a violent group of people passing by these few days have you? A primitive half-man, a blond swordsman and a very annoying woman who like to threaten strangers with crude language?"
-----Still clenched in the grips of his berserk rage, the Dread Pirate flails about wildly as he resists being stuffed into the sack. As his torso disappears into the bag, he begins howling at the top of his lungs. When Krord begins shaking his arm to release the halfling, Dread promptly lets go of Krord's arm, hoping to fall to the ground and gain his freedom.
-----The bag drops off of the bewildered mercenary's arm as Kazel holds onto it. She manages a resounding thump to the Pirate within as the halfling's legs continue to protrude from the opening.
-----As the struggle continues, someone from the growing crowd answers Kazel saying, "A violent group of people? That sounds like anybody who's been through here the past week!"
-----Seth shakes his head and talks out loud enough for all to hear. "Well, we need to be getting this wagon of vegetables back to the temple before they spoil. Cherio all!" He hopes someone takes his lead and begins the wagon rolling home.
