-----Raven pivots around the other humanoid just as the wolf has it distracted for the moment. As the wolf barks at the goblinoid, Raven's twin swords rip into the back of the enemy. The ranger stabs it twice finishing the foe with a slash across the back of its neck. The large monster falls dead losing its grip on the netting.
-----A dark form leaps up from behind Raven taking another attacking monster off its feet. With a loud roar, the feline creature swipes at the marauder's chest tearing open its leathery chest armor and the hide beneath it. The humanoid screams as the feline bites deeply into its shoulder with savage jaws. The humanoid manages to land a blow with its mace although the cat creature hangs onto its prey.
-----Meanwhile, Abram whips his sword around only to have it clumsily fall from his grasp. As he dives for the weapon, his opponent swings at him but fortunately, in missing Abram, it throws itself horribly off balance.
-----Shema and her opponent both swing and strike each other at the same moment. Both stagger back from each other, the blood beginning to fall from their wounds.
-----The humanoid facing Bradley lands a quick but effective hit on the young guard. The blond guard tries to retaliate but misses.
-----Romney faces off against the large humanoid threatening the immediate area around Sarah. The guard from Oakwood parries a descending mace from his foe. The humanoid then wisely turns his weapon to likewise deflect Romney's attack. Their weapons clang together, the sound seemingly swallowed up by the surrounding darkness.
-----Garrison's opponent swings in lightly scratching the woodsman's arm. Garrison angrily snarls up at the creature and shouts, "THAT IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO, BUGBEAR?" The woodsman then weighs in but misses as the goblinoid steps back from him.
-----"Blasted, cursed beast." Sol yells as he tries to disentangle himself from the net without achieving the opposite result.
-----With the large humanoid still holding on, Sol works his arms but cannot throw the netting off the top of himself. The young warrior quickly begins to grab for the knife in his boot.
-----Sarah turns her attention to the furry monster trying to trap Sol and zaps it with the same spell of missiles. The three golden missiles fly once more and strike the beastie trapping the Gorian beneath the netting. The humanoid jerks upward as the missiles slam into him and the netting falls from its claws. The creature then falls back, allowing Sol to get a better grip on freeing himself.
-----Raven rushes forward towards the bugbear attacking Rinda in cat form. Raven hacks at the bugbear's knee and then tries to drive the other blade deep into the creature's chest. The bugbear screams as Raven's blade slices into its knee and then pierces its chest.
-----With a single swipe the cat creature rips down the front of the humanoid. Its prone position on the ground and dark blood belies the fact that the bugbear is now holding onto its evil life by a thread.
-----Garrison's axe swoops through the air missing his foe. The woodsman then parries his opponent's mace.
-----Romney and the goblinoid facing him strike each other almost at the same time. They step back from each other both of them visibly injured.
-----Abram quickly recovers his weapon and tries to quickly hit the bugbear facing him. In his excitement, he fails to connect with it. This is mainly due to dumb luck as the humanoid has not regained its own balance enough to counter.
-----Shema lunges at her attacker only to find the humanoid anticipating her move. As she misses, the creature lands its mace on her back furthering her injuries.
-----As Bradley raises his sword once again, the weapon suddenly flies backwards out of his hand. Quickly turning to dive for it, his opponent sweeps the air with its mace behind him.
-----Sol's work on freeing himself from the netting achieves an almost feverish pitch. Using both a combination of his knife and his free hand, the Gorian makes use of the opportunity of being free for the moment from the bugbear's grip on the net.
-----Sarah sees that Shema is having some difficulty and decides to see if she can help. She points at the bugbear facing the female guard and mutters something ominous sounding.
-----Raven looks back and sees Bradley might be in over his head. Raven turns and moves to attack Bradley's foe. Hoping to surprise the bugbear, Raven tries to move directly behind the monster and then attack with both swords.
-----This, the hunter achieves with miraculous accuracy. Before the bugbear can react, Raven rips at its back with the twin short swords. The humanoid cries out in pain, being able to do little more than turn. Raven strikes it again tearing loose leather and flesh below its ribcage.
