-----Bradley regains his senses enough to stab into the creature on its other side. With that the bugbear falls dead. "Thank you!" the guard says quickly to the hunter as he catches his breath.
-----Sol continues to heave at the netting as he begins to cut through it. Finally he begins to haul enough of the netting up to find one edge of it.
-----Seemingly with its dying breath, the bugbear that Rinda, in huge cat form stands over, swings his arm up connecting with the firm and supple muscles along the feline's side. With an angry roar, the cat then bites down on the bugbear's neck taking the life finally from it. The huge cat then leaps off the creature scanning the battle around it.
-----Sarah's spell seems to be poised at her target's head, however with the bugbear's movement it seems not to be affected by it!
-----Shema swings in again with her weapon only to have it blocked by her opponent. The bugbear sneers evilly at the woman warrior throwing its weight on her momentarily forcing her back. The humanoid then redirects his mace and lands a blow on her side. Shema almost stumbles from the attack, badly injured!
-----Romney and the bugbear facing him trade blows again. This time they both do little more damage than scratches to each other.
-----"BY THE HUNTER, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!" Garrison roars as he heaves his battleaxe into his enemy. The weapon cleaves into the humanoid hitting it in the most critical way. As the woodsman then swings his axe out and downward, he kills the bugbear dropping its body quickly.
-----After being missed by an ill-swung mace, Abram scores a hit against his foe very effectively injuring one of the final bugbears.
-----Looking around, the adventurers see only three bugbears left, fighting Shema, Romney and Abram. It is apparent that the bugbears are also aware of this fact.
-----Just as Sol throws the last of the netting from him, the trio of humanoids begins backing as if to run off into the night.
-----Sarah quickly scans to see if she can tell which of the bugbears is close to dropping, if she can tell she decides she will target that one. She casts another magic missile spell.
-----The three golden missiles blast into the bugbear that was facing Shema. The humanoid instantly drops to its knees barely finding the strength to crawl off. Its condition suddenly looks critical!
-----Sol springs up from the ground and he just as quickly extracts his sword from the netting. The Gorian glances once at the group and congratulates them, "Well done everyone!" Sol then throws himself at the remaining three bugbears before they finish making their minds up about escaping.
-----Raven growls and then takes off after their foes. His eyes lock on the closest Bugbear. Like one of Sarah's magical missiles, Raven homes in on his prey.
-----As Sol and Raven run, the other two bugbears turn and hightail it into the darkness. As both men move to within a few inches from their opponents, they wield their weapons but fail to hit.
-----Suddenly the huge cat form of Rinda leaps from the air beside Raven landing into one of the fleeing humanoids. Both the bugbear and the feline creature tumble just ahead of the two men.
-----Sol dashes past the tangle of cat and goblinoid, and begins to chase one particular bugbear. He gestures with a wave of his hand for Raven to follow the other.
-----Sarah was hoping that Sol would let the hunters track the bugbears down so that she could look at his wounds. No such luck of course. Trusting the guards to finish off the critically wounded bugbear she takes off after Sol, Raven, and Rinda-cat.
-----With an angry yowl, the huntress's cat form rips into the bugbear's chest. The humanoid's body then goes limp and the cat creature seems to sniff the monster for any signs of life.
-----Meanwhile Sol charges after the last remaining humanoid with his Lathanian blade held high over his head. Just as he makes it within a couple of strides of the retreating bugbear, he forcibly brings his weapon down. The sword carves in through the evil one's back easily almost splitting the torso in two. With that the chase is over.
-----Garrison runs up and surveys the last of the battle. "Well done," he says with an almost regretful look on his face at seeing the last of the bugbears dead.
-----The cat creature stands up and in its place appears the strong and feminine form of Rinda.
-----By now, Abram and Romney have taken care of the bugbear that had battled Shema. Looking quickly over the guards, Bradley looks to have suffered little more than scratches while Abram appears not to have been struck at all. Romney seems to have suffered injuries to his abdomen while Shema looks badly hurt. The other guards help ease her into a sitting position on the ground.
