-----"If the plague's such a big deal then we should probably just let Marast go on with his mission and have him tell me where they are." Sarah suggests.
-----"Yes, but is he heading back their way first? He seemed to be after he left th' trail, or was he just trying t'hide from pursuit?" Sol ponders only slightly rhetorically. He then looks at Sarah again, "Now do ye have any idea how long the potion will last or not?"
-----Raven says, "I agree with Sol that we shouldn't attack the thieves now. Their goal is a good one and I say let them tackle it ALONE. We should not work with Dread and his group. They would just look for a good point to take advantage of us when we were at our weakest."
-----Raven pauses to collect his thoughts and then continues, "We could go after this evil group behind the plague as a separate attack force or we go after Krondor and let Dread and the gang handle things here." Raven motions to the elf, "From what Mr. Sunshine told us, I think their hearts are in the right place and they are more than able to handle themselves."
-----Raven turns to Sol, "I will not work with Dread ever again. Like the old saying, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Sorry to put you in tight spot, but I don't think I control myself around Dread. Blood will fall the next time he insults me."
-----Raven turns to Sarah, "I agree, let the elf continue to Oakwood for help. We could even swap horses and take our old ones back and have the elf return the ones we borrowed."
-----Marast's expression turns slightly confused especially when Sarah mentions making him disappear. He curiously raises an eyebrow when Raven speaks.
-----Abram scratches his head and says, "I am sure the officials of the Court would like to question this one as to the taking of the horses." Abram then looks around at the almost too quiet scenery of Redmarsh. "But, with the current state of things as they are, I would think that the stolen horses would be the least of the trouble, especially if they are returned."
-----"Aye," Romney speaks up in agreement as he watches the countryside, "if the horses are returned, we can focus on the one called Krondor. Every moment we are delayed gives that traitor more time to bring havoc on this poor land. Once he is dealt with, I wonder how long it will take for this Fief to recover?"
-----"Okay then." Sarah says, somewhat satisfied. "There is one thing though, something I have to settle with Seth." She thinks back to the stolen spells. "I can understand if the rest of you don't want to come with me, in fact maybe I'd prefer it too." She shrugs.
-----"So here's my idea. I go find Seth, we work things out, we send Marast on his way with the new horses, and then we head after Krondor."
-----To Sol she says, "Probably not much longer, an hour at the very most. These potions are not nearly as lasting as spells, but some are more powerful, it depends on who made it."
-----Sol nods at Sarah's knowledge on the potion, but snorts at her idea of heading off on her own, "Sorry Sarah, but yer idea o' working things out will probably end up wi' a little hostility. Dread's made enough threats against you t'ensure that we're not going t'have ye visit them alone. Actually, just fer confirmation, when did Seth steal yer spells?"
-----Sarah wonders briefly if she's been talking in her sleep. "H-how'd you know, Sol?" She asks the warrior. "So, do you want to come with me then?"
-----"How'd I know about what? The threats? The pirate made enough of them. The stolen spells? You just mentioned those." Sol answers with a frown before continuing, "Well, coming with you at the moment depends on when Seth stole those spells. So when did it happen?"
-----Raven says, "You know Sarah I think we'll cross paths with the thieves again before this mission is done. Can your meeting with Seth wait until Krondor's black soul is sent to Hades? I agree with Sol that there is a good chance of things getting out of control if you go and 'talk' with Seth."
-----Raven holds his hands up in defense, "Of course I don't know the way of wizards, so if this is that important then do what you must."
-----"No I didn't." Sarah says to Sol, giving him a funny look. "How'd you know?"
-----To Raven she responds. "No, it can't wait and if you don't want to help me you don't have to, in fact please don't because you guys will just come along and mess everything up. It's a simple meeting, we're both pros, we can handle it." She gives the two men strange looks as if they're annoying her at the moment.
-----"Ye didn't mention it? Huh..." Sol considers for a moment, "...Must've misheard something ye said. It doesn't help that I'm probably going crazy at the moment." Sol grins at this comment before adding, "Th' question is still valid though. When did this happen? It may make a difference."
