-----"Because we were going t'do something." Sol replies in consideration, "An' I've got t'admit I feel we still will at sometime. What that is, when it is, I don't know. Obviously not now."
-----Sol looks at those gathered and submits his view, "Alright, I think we should just head straight fer Krondor now. Wi' Garrison showing us th' quickest way t'th' dog's keep east o' Nox, we can start Redmarsh on her recovery. It'd be even better if th' pirate's lot managed t'deal wi' the plague starters as well. Between our two groups we should see this fief fit yet. What do th' rest o' ye think?" The Gorian is once more showing signs of enthusiasm, happy to be on some firm path at least in his mind.
-----Raven sighs and then says, "If it wasn't for the plague, I would be heading towards their hideout to take 'em down. If we attack them now, we'll have the blood of the innocent town folk here on our hands."
-----Raven throws his hands up in frustration, "Do you think I like this Sarah? I spent hours tracking these scum, just to see them walk away. We have the advantage and yet we have to watch them slip away. You're right Sarah, it smarts to not face 'em now. But like Sol said, we'll run into them again and then we'll finish this."
-----Raven looks at the elf ranger, "Of course he'll tell them everything we've said. So do we let him go to Oakwood and trust he'll do it after we've left? Sarah, can you ask if he will go straight to Oakwood if we let him go, or if he'll head back to warn Dread and gang about us."
-----Sarah slumps lower in her saddle, visibly dejected by everyone's comments. "Okay, okay." She says holding her hands up defensively. "I was just asking..." She turns to Marast and asks him Raven's question.
-----Rinda moans as if realizing something. She then speaks lowly so Marast doesn't hear. "As far as charms go, it may be hard to tell what Marast will do once the spell wears off," The huntress says. "He may tell Sarah he is going straight to Oakwood, but once he realizes the charm cast on him, he may change his mind."
-----Just as Rinda stops speaking, the elf begins replying with a concerned if not a stern look on his face.
-----Sarah listens to Marast's response. "Yep, that's exactly what he'll do. Then our cover's blown and they'll probably come straight for us and they won't care if we're after a dangerous criminal when they consider killing us or not. All because no one wanted to plan this out." Sarah pouts. "So why don't we tell Zantar the situation and have him send one of his men instead of Marast to tell the people of Oakwood what's going on and..." She lets her subtle threat towards Marast hang in the air.
-----"I think that by now Sir Zantar is unwilling t'send anymore men. He's probably barely got enough t'keep th' peace o' th' city. I could always go instead. On Thunder it'll take no time." Offers Sol, though he looks uncertain whether that's actually what he wants to do. The Gorian then studies Marast as he suggests, "Let's hand him over t'Zantar. I really don't want th' thieves t'be certain that we're after them. I'm not even sure if I want..." Sol stops, shakes his head then restarts, "Maybe I should go after all."
-----Raven walks over to Sarah and then says in low tone so the elf won't hear, "Tell the elf to get off his horse and put away his weapons. We need to figure out what to do with him."
-----Sol suddenly thinks of something, "Oh, an' Sarah, can ye also ask Marast t'tell ye word fer word what he was instructed t'do an' say once he reached Oakwood?"
-----"Nay, my friend," Romney says to Sol, "I feel it is our place to send one or two of us back to Oakwood." The guard indicates himself and the rest of the guards.
-----Turning to Sol, he adds, "As much as I have seen you charge into dark caverns and into the path of dragons, it would be a waste to simply send you back to retrieve help." A bit of humor is reflected in his eyes.
-----Looking at the other two male guards, Romney says, "I would suggest Abram and Bradley. They appear not to have been badly injured from our battles with the bugbears. Within three or four days, they could lead the faithful of Holy Joren to this beleaguered town."
-----"Waste? Yer overrating me somewhat. Besides th' trip back is likely t'be troublesome as well." Sol frowns a little and changes his mind, "But chances are ye have a better chance o' rousing th' priesthood, I guess."
-----Sol turns to Abram and Bradley and with a serious tone asks, "Would th' two o' ye be willing t'do this fer us? We could meet up wi' ye back in th' city..." Sol gestures towards Redmarsh's capital, "...in half a week. Nox is not so far from here, so we shouldn't be too long."
-----Raven nods, "I don't like it, but it does makes sense to have you two bring the elf back to Oakwood. Although, I think we should avoid this town as long as the plague rages within its walls. Instead let's meet you two at that small grove right there." Raven points toward the grove he suggested they meet Sarah at if she had gone to face Seth. Raven continues, "Sounds okay to everyone?"
