-----Sarah smirks at the grim warrior. "So much for strategy." She mumbles, a dismissive gesture sending the final rainbow colored disc flying towards the warrior. Sarah looks around, as if she assumes the others have control of the situation, in any case she is obviously not worried about the black armored man.
-----She walks over to Sol and Rinda and nods towards the battle, "Think they can use your help over there...Rinda." The mage says, then leans down and pushes Sol to the ground. "Don't even think about it, Sol." Sarah says both commandingly and pleadingly. "I'll take care of you. Oh, did you happen to notice what direction that troll went?" She asks while she works off his armor to bandage his wounds.
-----Managing to shove Sol to the ground, the young Gorian warrior submits. He grumbles his reply, "I've no idea which way it went. No doubt one o' th' villagers saw its direction."
-----Rinda also responds to Sarah, saying, "One more healing spell is all I can offer. Bind some of his wounds while I do this." The huntress then applies pressure to Sol's chest as she begins to pray again.
-----Raven violently thrusts one blade out striking the appalling enemy in the chest. The evil one coughs and grunts as blood begins to seep from his nose.
-----Just then the last of Sarah's multi-colored disks strikes the warrior, sending a new wave of pain through him. He refocuses his hateful look at the ranger whose sword still impales his chest. With a roar he swings his flail but the spiked ball misses Raven striking the ground with a heavy thud.
-----Raven then sends his other sword straight into the evil one's chest. The ugly warrior's head falls back as his neck goes limp. As the warrior falls, Raven pulls his swords from the body.
-----As soon as the enemy hits the ground, Lovan and Romney strike at the foe making sure he is dead.
-----Raven pulls free his swords from the ugly warrior's body. Raven leans in closer to examine the body. Raven looks over to Sarah, "What the hell is this thing? Is this a troll?"
-----Raven starts to search the warrior's body.
-----"Just a moment, Raven, I'll check to see if I can tell." Sarah says as she finishes binding up Sol's wounds. She puts a finger to his lips. "Don't move." She says with a commanding voice.
-----Sarah walks over to Raven and kneels down next to the dispatched foe, she looks him up and down, trying to remember all the old stories she's read and wondering if the man matches any descriptions of famous or ordinary monsters. She continues to be surrounded by the golden motes that her wand produced, and the three angry looking owls that bear a striking resemblance to Chessie continue to circle her head.
-----Sol stays put, a rather disgruntled statement being his only offering of a reply. The Gorian wipes his blade clean on some grass, but instead of resheathing the longsword, Sol keeps in his hand as he keeps a lookout for the troll or any other signs of trouble.
-----Garrison shakes his head. "That's no troll," the woodsman grimly says. "I don't know what this man did, but it is if something very evil took his soul."
-----"He was a follower of the god of destruction," Beleya, the sun priestess adds with a disgusted look. She winces as she kneels down beside Sol fighting the pain of her own wounds. Rinda stands up and watches her apply her own healing magic to the Gorian.
-----Soon Sol is able to stand. Although he still appears greatly wounded at least his condition does not seem critical. "You need to rest this day," Beleya tells him, "You can find comfort at the Sun Temple here in Nox."
-----After looking over Shema, Rinda quietly approaches Romney and speaks with him. The guard simply nods to her and says little.
-----Raven stands up and walks over to where Shema lies. Raven goes down on one knee and says a quiet prayer. After a minute, a grim Raven stands and goes over to look for the troll's tracks.
-----"I agree, Garrison." Sarah says, looking over the body. "He seems human enough to me. And he fell before us like any mortal can." Sarah's eyes flicker towards Shema, and a look of sadness crosses her face for a brief second. As this happens the glowing motes around her disappear, leaving only the angry owls as evidence of her magic.
-----"Raven, let's track that troll down. Anyone who thinks they're fit to come should join us." She points to Sol and the sun priestess. "You two at least should seek the cover of the temple in Nox. The rest of us will meet you there. Any comments?" Sarah looks around at the group, clearly wanting to get down to hunting the troll as soon as possible.
-----Sol sets his jaw stubbornly as he prepares himself to argue, but seems to change his mind. Instead he suggests, "Th' troll, or whatever Garrison thinks it is, should be taken down an' I'd normally go wi' ye. But yer right..." Sol indicates the Sun God's priestess who he hasn't been introduced to, "...I'll stay and guard her reverence. There's no guarantee these were th' only ones around."
