-----Raven is suddenly besieged again on his left side, this time by Sarah, who reaches beyond to grab at Sol. Clutching the warrior by the back of his chain shirt, she commences to pull Sol back. She points out an angry red welt beginning to swell on Sol’s neck.
-----Sarah grabs Sol by his shoulders and leads him back away from the webs. "Hold still, Sol. That bite doesn't look good." Sarah makes a face as she examines the cut, running through her pouches of herbs looking for something to ease the pain with. "Hey Sol, isn't this a change! I'm helping you out!" She says trying not to sound worried.
-----Sarah turns to Raven and says, concerned, "Go get Rinda."
-----Raven nods to Sarah, "Will do, but first..." Raven attacks the spider closest to him. He reaches forward as Sol steps back and kills the last spider clinging to the webs. Raven then quickly turns and starts to run to find Rinda.
-----"Hang on a damn second." Sol steps away from Sarah, as she digs through her pouches. "I appreciate it an' all, but until these bugs are door paint...'sides it's only a little bite."
-----Sol says to the ranger, "Raven, hold up. I'm fine. She's doing something important, anyway." He then begins to look around for any more spiders. Seeing none, Sol finally submits to the mage’s attention. Within a few minutes, Sarah has a bandage wrapped lightly around Sol’s throat, but the warrior looks somewhat paler. Sweat seems to stream down the warrior’s face.
-----Seth moves over towards Sol and Sarah to aid the warrior if he can. "Sarah, should Sol lay down and wait here for Rinda or should we try and get him up to the entrance? He seems to be sweating profusely!"
-----"Sol! You're not okay!" Sarah snaps at him. "Sit down, lean against the wall here." Sarah attempts to guide Sol down and heal his wounds for him. "Why do you always have to be such a hero?" She asks him softly while administering herbs to his wound.
-----The Dread Pirate, not seeing anymore spiders, looks over at Sol's pale, sweating countenance. He then sheathes his cutlass and scurries over towards him, "Arrr....yer not lookin too healthy there, Sol." A concerned look crosses the Dread Pirate's face, "If'n ye die, can I have yer boots?"
-----The Dread Pirate squats down at Sol's feet and begins tugging at one of Sol's boots, only to stop, sigh and mutter, "Arrr, those boots are much too large fer me feet. Do ye have any valuables ye'd like me to take care of fer ye? Maybe some gold in yer pockets? Anything in yer pack ye'd like me to pass on to yer family?"
-----Sol relaxes slightly, familiar at playing the patient. He replies softly to the mage nursing his wound, "I’m not bein' a hero. As long as I'm standin', I can work. 'Sides it just a little bite." He grins crookedly at the pirate sniffing after his belongings, and offers, "When I bite th' dust, and that ain't goin' t'be now, ye can have everything if ye like. 'Cause I doubt ye'd be wantin' t'make th' trip back to Goria."
-----After applying more healing herbs, Sarah rewraps the bandage around Sol’s neck.
-----Sol looks down at his surcoat, noting the green ooze that once occupied the spider's body, and sighs. "I guess I should thank ye fer gettin' that other spider off me, Raven." With that, he wipes his short sword clean on the surcoat, figuring it can't look much worse at the moment, sheathes it, and then bends down and retrieves his long sword.
-----For a moment, a silence falls over the chamber as the adventurers cluster somewhat in the middle of the room. The four doors remain open and the stench of death assaults their senses.
-----Raven walks over to Sol and says, "No problem, you'd do the same for me." Raven pauses and rubs his chin, "Sol, you aren't lookin' too hot. Well better to be safe than sorry. I'll get Rinda so she can check you out." Raven runs to get Rinda.
-----After a few minutes, Raven returns with the huntress. Upon seeing the young warrior, she asks, "Sol, what did you rush into this time?" She then begins to look over the bandages applied by Sarah. Rinda then says, nodding to Sarah, "Those look good, so I’m not going to touch those."
-----The huntress then applies two spells to Sol. One to help heal him and one to slow any poison that is working its way through his body. They help somewhat but Sol still looks a bit worn.
-----"I need to get back up there with the halfling. He’s resting now, but I don’t want to leave him long," Rinda says to everyone. "Raven told me of his family that you’ve found," she continues with her eyes downcast. "I will tell him before we leave this place."
-----"In the meantime," she suddenly says, with her finger raised in front of Sol, "quit tempting the predators, Sol Herron! If you charge into the jaws of every beast on this hunt, there won’t be enough of you left to honor at the hunter’s feast!" She smiles, raising one eyebrow, as she adds, "Of course, everything I’ve said to you will be forgotten with the next door you find."
