-----Perhaps most interestingly, the woman warrior Shema attacks two opponents, whipping into them with a silent fury. Her eyes seem to gleam with intensity as she takes both of her foes off their feet with two swings of her sword.
-----After pausing only momentarily to marvel at Sol’s brilliance in tactics, Sarah sees the humans trying to run and decides to let them. With the guards she advances towards those she knocked out with her spell and begins to bind them. "Feel free to go after the rest." She says to the two guards.
-----Romney stands nearby as Abram reaches down and hurriedly helps Sarah tie up the three bandits. Romney replies to her as he keeps a sharp lookout for anything threatening, "Aye, MiLady, we will watch for any who try to retreat in this direction."
-----Like a wolf standing over a kill, Raven looks down at the knocked out man. He quickly shifts his eyes to chaos around him. Raven's head stops suddenly as he finds his next prey. The ranger breaks into a dead run straight at the bandit. The moonlight shows clearly the wolf-like snarl that is on Raven's face.
-----The bandit’s eyes grow as he sees Raven running toward him. With his nerve breaking, the man begins to turn and flee. Raven then plows into the man taking him off his feet and causing him to land face down on the ground. Quickly turning over, the man raises up just in time to see Raven ball up his fist and knock the frightened man senseless.
-----Sol pushes himself in the midst of a small cluster of retreating men. With his sword waving like a whirlwind, Sol manages to push one man over and stab two others in the leg making them fall to the ground.
-----Shema disarms another dark bandit and draws her sword up to the man’s neck. He looks at her with eyes bulging while she holds him subdued. The intense strong expression never leaves her face.
-----With a resounding crack, Rinda brings her club to bear on her opponent’s head causing him to drop his sword and sending him unconscious to the ground.
-----Bradley and his opponent continue their swordplay never gaining a hit on each other. While the clanging of their weapons continue, Sol and Raven can see that with Rinda and Shema, they all stand amid a dozen subdued or dead bandits.
-----"Some just don't know when t'quit." Sol muses as he quickly moves over to back Bradley up. He watches the swordplay between the two combatants, seeking an opening in which to finish the last bandit off.
-----Raven looks over the battlefield for any more sign of the enemy. Seeing none Raven turns to Sol, "We should tie them up quickly. There could be more of them around." Raven starts to tie up the bandits.
-----Sol finds himself frustrated finding an opening as Bradley and the stray bandit continue to battle with more speed and ferocity. Back and forth they go, the metal of their blades singing out into the darkness with a ringing rhythm. Twice the bandit looks over Bradley’s shoulder and sees the young warrior trying to get at him. A third look by the man causes him to realize the condition of the rest of his partners.
-----"Damn!" he finally exclaims, throwing down his sword and putting his hands in the air to surrender. As Sol covers the bandit with his sword, Bradley puts his hands on his knees and pants out, "Thank the gods!" The blonde-haired guard finally catches his breath enough to add, "That is one hell of a way to end a nightly watch!"
-----Romney and Abram chuckle as they stand by Sarah while Shema glares angrily again at Bradley. Soon all of the bandits who are still alive are bound in one form or another.
-----Sol nods in satisfaction whilst wiping his blade clean on a bandit's body. Once done, he resheathes the Lathanian blade and says to Raven, "Well, it looks like we won't have to wait t'interrogate. There seem t'be a few 'wake enough. Did you want t'start th' proceedings?" The Gorian asks with a slightly impish, though polite tone.
-----Before Raven answers, Sol slowly scans the surrounding forest commenting quietly, "It's kind of a stretch o' imagination believing these buffoons are th' apparitions, witches and ghostly figures that've been reported in th' area."
-----Raven nods, "Aye it is." Raven heads toward the bandit the wolf had wounded. Bending down, he slaps the bandit awake. Raven growls at the bandit, "Rise and shine. Time to talk." Looking up at the other bandits, he adds, "And only you may talk." Raven looks back down at the bandit in front of him, "Now be a good lad and you won't be the wolf's next meal. What are you all doing here?" Raven right hand moves to the hilt of his sword. "Don't be foolish and try to lie to us. That would make me very upset." Raven flashes the man a wide grin, "Talk."
-----The man painfully sits up and grabs his arm. He then looks at the dark form of Raven silhouetted with the moon behind him. His eyes get large and he says in a nervous voice, "We heard ‘bout the orcs n’ gnolls in the area and thought they’d cleared everyone outta the village. We were comin’ here to get what we could."
